Slammer Hammer Jammer Bammers (8-1-1)

SHJB's unbeaten streak finally comes to an end. Flying Tigers ended the former champs' unbeaten streak beating them 3-2 in the dying seconds of the game. SHJB was not able to register a win this week as they went 0-1-1. New faces in Eric Huynh, Paolo Jimenez, Victor Trac and Jimmy Ly made their debuts on the red team after the big trades in week 5. Team chemistry was a big question mark coming into this game. With the four new players it will take time for SHJB to gel again. SHJB also discovered that their franchise player Keith Mah has went down to an injury. This will hurt the strength of SHJB significantly and week 6 will be quite the test to see if SHJB can bounce back after a disasterous week 5.
Key injuries: Keith Mah (Lower body - week to week)

Chain Gang (6-3-1)

Chain Gang's week 5 was easy breezy. Destroying their opponents by a total score of 22-5. Chain Gang was stellar offensively and defensively. Goaltending was also strong posting only a ga of 5 in week 5. Two new faces in Richard Tang and Wilson Le erupted to help lead Chain Gang to 2-0-0 this week. Chain Gang recently shipped Gene Carandang to Flying Tigers which will hurt their team slightly but expect Joseph Florendo to start producing for his new team real quick after he's back from injury.
Key injuries: Joseph Florendo (fractured rib - week to week), Felix Wong (upper body - day to day)

This week - Rank #3
Last week - Rank #5
Flying Tigers (3-5-2)

Flying Tigers ended SHJB's unbeaten streak beating them 3-2 in week 5. Flying Tigers are happy they got their keeper Garvin Chow back from his personal leave. Going 1-0-1 in week 5 while playing 2 of the top 3 teams is quite impressive. Expect the new comers Danh Le and Gene Carandang to contribute immediately as both have played in the Tigers system in season 1. Flying Tigers are on their way up!
Key injuries: Hoac Tang (lower body - week to week)

This week - Rank #4
Last week - Rank #3
Shockers (3-3-4)

Shockers as expected go another week with a tie. Week 5 they tied both Flying Tigers and SHJB. Shockers this season have the most man games lost. They have brought in multiple subs on a weekly basis. The chemistry is not as strong on this team as other teams due to not being able to field their main roster on a bi-weekly basis. Only reason I drop them a rank this week is because the teams under them are getting better while Shockers have stayed status quo. Still a very strong team and should not be taken lightly.
Key injuries: Thang Ly (personal leave), Ken Dang (lower body - day to day), David Luong (personal leave)

This week - Rank #5
Last week - Rank #6
Roosters (2-7-1)

Though Roosters hold the league's worst record, help is on the way. After trading trading away their season 1 keeper, they improved their depth with adding Stanley Chan and Winslow Tang. Not only that, they freed up enough cap space to sign rising star Vannak Chan. Adding the 3 of these players along with Rooster's current group should give them a huge push for the playoffs. This team has improved significantly, and they are the dark horse team to make that last and final playoff spot in my books!
Key injuries: none

This week - Rank #6
Last week - Rank #4
Cash Only (3-6-1)

Cash Only made a blockbuster trade this week shipping star players Stanley Chan and Winslow Tang to Roosters for Ricky Gregorio. This move appears as though Cash Only is giving up their chances to making playoffs especially with a very difficult schedule ahead of them, the odds aren't looking good. At least their GM Ryan Ho was able to snatch Ricky Gregorio in search for a new looking face to the franchise next season. Even though odds are against them, Cash Only will not give up fighting for the playoffs until they are officially eliminated. Koodos to Cash Only for never giving up when the going gets tough!
Key injuries: none
