ABHL PLAYER NOTES continuous Empty Daniel Mah - Saturday, March 19, 2011

Post  ROTOWORLD Sat Mar 19, 2011 6:06 pm

SHJB leader Daniel Mah is reportedly recovering well from his lacerated elbow. He has been upgraded from DTD and to probable for wk2 of the ABHL. Although he will be sporting new protective gear his play should not be affected. Stay tuned for more updates on the forward's status as he attempts to help SHJB improve from their 1-1 record.

ABHL PLAYER NOTES continuous Empty Kevin Chan - Sat, March 19, 2011

Post  ROTOWORLD Sat Mar 19, 2011 6:09 pm

Reports on Kevin Chan are that he is healing well from his lacerated gums. FT cannot afford to lose another forward as their leading scorer is already DTD with his current injury. Kevin was lucky to escape with minor injuries as the team dentist reports it was millimeters from being much worse. Look for the FT forward to bring the heat next Saturday.

ABHL PLAYER NOTES continuous Empty Danh Le - Saturday, March 19th, 2011

Post  ROTOWORLD Sat Mar 19, 2011 6:13 pm

The Flying Tigers will be much improved on the defensive end with the return of dman Danh Le. After missing week 1 due to personal reasons, he will make his Flying Tiger season debut during wk 2 of the ABHL. This will be interesting to follow after the tigers were "defensively challenged" after wk 1.

ABHL PLAYER NOTES continuous Empty Andrew Szeto - March 21st, 2011

Post  ROTOWORLD Mon Mar 21, 2011 9:26 pm

TaSN reports roosters sleeper forward "DRU" will not be in action for week two's games. Rooster's GM quickly put to rest the rumors that the highly versatile F/D was unhappy in the roosters red and black. DRU will be missing the game due to personal reasons. Roosters fans can breathe a sigh of relief for now.

ABHL PLAYER NOTES continuous Empty Nick Yatco - March 21st, 2011

Post  ROTOWORLD Mon Mar 21, 2011 9:33 pm

Coming off the first ever player of the week nomination chain gang goalie Nick Yatco is suffering from a minor lower body injury. "I'll be fine" were the words of the star goalie. With foward Felix Wong already on the IR they can ill afford to have a hurt goalie. Team doctors are awaiting results, but Yatco is probable for Saturdays tilt vs the Shockers and Flying Tigers.

ABHL PLAYER NOTES continuous Empty Hoac Tang - Tuesday, March 22, 2011

Post  ROTOWORLD Tue Mar 22, 2011 12:36 pm

Shockers goalie has returned from his personal leave. He is refreshed and excited to make his season debut this weekend. Hoac Tang is well known for his heroics during HCUP tournament a few years back. "I need to relive the HCUP days" were the words of the goalie. After last weeks debacle with their substitute goalie the Shockers will welcome Hoac back as they try to climb out of last place.

ABHL PLAYER NOTES continuous Empty Richard Lee - Tuesday, March 22, 2011

Post  ROTOWORLD Tue Mar 22, 2011 12:48 pm

SHJB forward Richard Lee will be missing wk 2 of the abhl due to personal reasons. Reports note these personal reasons involve a trip to Sin City. It seems as though SHJB gm Daniel Mah does not have any issues with this. Looks like team Jammers has a lenient team policy.

ABHL PLAYER NOTES continuous Empty Jimmy Phung - Tuesday, March 22, 2011

Post  ROTOWORLD Tue Mar 22, 2011 12:51 pm

It looks like the injury bug is hitting team chain gang early in the season. CG forward Jimmy Phung will not be available for week 2 as he has suffered a lower body injury playing dodgeball. The reported injury is a sprained ankle, and he is dtd at the moment. Knock on wood, but let's hope the rest of the CG can stay healthy.

ABHL PLAYER NOTES continuous Empty Bryan Lee - Tuesday, March 22, 2011

Post  ROTOWORLD Tue Mar 22, 2011 1:06 pm

WOW this just in shutdown dman Bryan Lee is questionable for the chain gang's second set of games Saturday. He has personal reasons but is unable to confirm whether he will suit up. Already missing Jimmy Phung and Felix Wong the CG can ill afford to not have one of their twin towers dressed. It will be incredibly difficult for them to repeat their stellar first week results. This will be an interesting development for ABHL wk 2 Will this force CG GM to make a move? Call up a player from the minors? Stayed as ROTOWORLD is ur source for the ABHL.

ABHL PLAYER NOTES continuous Empty Clarence Chai - Tuesday, March 22, 2011

Post  ROTOWORLD Tue Mar 22, 2011 1:38 pm

With the rash of injuries and missing players CG GM Felix Wong has made the call to the minors and called up Clarence Chai. Clarence is a solid player with experience in ESSC and RHL play. With so many missing bodies Clarence will be a welcomed substitute for the crew.

ABHL PLAYER NOTES continuous Empty Andrew Szeto - Tuesday, March 22, 2011

Post  ROTOWORLD Tue Mar 22, 2011 2:00 pm

Further developments have surfaced days after the controversy arose in regards to roosters forward Andrew Szeto. Rooosters feel after an impressive first week they have granted dru request to allow him to catch some rays down in miami florida. "we believe this will help andrew get the partying out of system, and return to become an even more effective player". This seems to show the great player GM relationship on the Roosters squad. This is definetly an interesting team philosophy.

ABHL PLAYER NOTES continuous Empty Ryan Ho - Sunday, March 27, 2011

Post  ROTOWORLD Sun Mar 27, 2011 11:06 pm

Cash Only leader Ryan Ho has suffered a season ending injury. It was a unfortunate accident, and his services will be missed greatly for the rest of the year. He was admitted to the hospital Saturday as they had to pop his shoulder back into place. It looks as though surgery is the plan of action and Ryan will be facing a long rehab process. Past shoulder injuries have slowed him down, but he has always found a way back. His determination will assist him along the way to getting back into uniform. ABHL wishes Ryan a speedy recovery and looks forward to having him back in year 2.

ABHL PLAYER NOTES continuous Empty Keith Mah - Sunday, March 27, 2011

Post  ROTOWORLD Sun Mar 27, 2011 11:10 pm

The anticipated debut of the SHJB forward did not disappoint. Scouting reports noted that Keith was a skilled fast playmaker, but he showed different as he notched a league record 6 goals and 2 assists in the SHJB second game drubbing of Cash Only. SHJB showed great chemistry and will certainly be a team to look out for with point leader Keith in the lineup. Keith certainly caught the attention of the rest of the ABHL by taking the point lead in just two games. Week 3 SHJB faces the undefeated Chain Gang it will be interesting to see if he keeps up the torrid pace.

ABHL PLAYER NOTES continuous Empty Will Chan - Sunday, March 27, 2011

Post  ROTOWORLD Sun Mar 27, 2011 11:15 pm

Cash Only forward Will Chan made a surprise appearance as he suited up for the first time this season. His return was welcomed as he contributed in a win over the Roosters game one. Unfortunately his return coincided with the loss of Ryan Ho. Will's importance increased 2 fold and will certainly be a key player if Cash Only wants to overcome the odds and continue to win.

ABHL PLAYER NOTES continuous Empty Bryan Lee - Sunday, March 27, 2011

Post  ROTOWORLD Sun Mar 27, 2011 11:30 pm

CG defender Bryan Lee was able to sort his personal reasons out and suit up for week 2 of the ABHL. His presence was definetly noted as he a bounce back week in a big way. Bryan notched 3g and 2a in another 2 win week for the Gang. He'll have to continue to play a large role if the undefeated streak is to be extended.

ABHL PLAYER NOTES continuous Empty Daniel Mah - Monday, March 28, 2011

Post  ROTOWORLD Mon Mar 28, 2011 9:12 pm

Shjb forward Daniel Mah is reportedly suffering from a strained ass muscle, sore knee and elbow. Injuries are piling up early in the season. Although he is not expected to miss anytime a few maintenance days would help to ensure no serious injuries occur. We will monitor this situation closely during the season.

ABHL PLAYER NOTES continuous Empty Jimmy Phung - Tuesday, March 29, 2011

Post  ROTOWORLD Tue Mar 29, 2011 4:17 pm

Chain gang forward Jimmy Phung is progressing from his lower body injury. "It's still hurting I can walk but still can't run" were the words right out of the forwards mouth. He was averaging one point per game before leaving for personal reasons and then being injured for wk 2's games. I think this player is still unknown to the ABHL but may be able to turn some heads. Stay tuned as we'll see if Jimmy willl suit of for week 3.

ABHL PLAYER NOTES continuous Empty Richard Tang - Tuesday, March 29, 2011

Post  ROTOWORLD Tue Mar 29, 2011 9:30 pm

It looks as though injuries come in bunches. Cash Only already losing Ryan Ho for the season have once again suffered another injury. Forward Richard Tang has just recently suffered a sprained ankle during his off court workouts. I bet he'd would "flip flop" situations with anyone else outside of Cash Only. Although the extent of the injury is unknown it does seem to be pretty bad. His status is currently being listed as DTD. Good luck Dick, hope its not too severe as Cash Only cannot afford to lose anymore players.

ABHL PLAYER NOTES continuous Empty Clarence Chai - Tuesday, March 29, 2011

Post  ROTOWORLD Tue Mar 29, 2011 9:34 pm

After Clarence's solid debut as a sub last Saturday, it looks as though he has attracted a lot of attention from the GM's around the league. ROTOWORLD has gotten insider information from TaSN reporter JOhn Lu that a team has indeed signed him, but which team is still unknown. Once the details of this big FA signing are released Im sure the league will know what is going on here. Stay posted.

ABHL PLAYER NOTES continuous Empty Eric Dang - Wednesday, March 30, 2011

Post  ROTOWORLD Wed Mar 30, 2011 7:00 pm

The abhl is concerned as sources close to the shockers forward will not disclose Eric Dang's status. The shockers forward suffered what looked to be a concussion in week two's games. His responses were slow and as a result the penalty shot was not a success. As the days goes by we hope Shockers sources will release more information in regards to the health of the player. This play is being reviewed by the ABHL board. We are unsure if anything will come of this.

ABHL PLAYER NOTES continuous Empty Gary Wong - Friday, April 1, 2011

Post  ROTOWORLD Fri Apr 01, 2011 6:55 pm

With the Cash Only openly shopping his first round superstar, the ABHL is wondering how the #1 pick is dealing. It sounds as though the GM and player have had a talk over dinner and both want whats best for this Franchise and for the player. A move does seem to be imminent, but the whole ABHL sits and waits to see what comes of this "talk". It is to be noted that Gary Wong has had new personal interests arise and his committment to the ABHL has been in question. This is all talk, as other GM's have mentioned that Gary is still very committed to the league. Stay tuned as I'm sure breaking news will come of this situation.

ABHL PLAYER NOTES continuous Empty Felix Wong - Friday, April 1, 2011

Post  ROTOWORLD Fri Apr 01, 2011 6:59 pm

The CG GM has been out of action closing in on 3 weeks. He is off crutches now, but still walking with a noticeable limp. The pain is too much to play through at the moment, so he is still considered questionable at best for week 3's games. He has been quoted as wanting to return this week, but with lots of season left to play he has been encouraged to ensure a full recovery before chancing it on the new playing service of the ACT. Also what makes this more interesting is a possible new look CG next weekend. So many stories developing around this big market high exposure franchise.

ABHL PLAYER NOTES continuous Empty Bryan Lee - Friday, April 1, 2011

Post  ROTOWORLD Fri Apr 01, 2011 7:05 pm

Going into week 3, the CG defender is excited to build off his very solid week 2 performance. He posted a massive 5 points in two games, but with the CG team at the roof of the salary cap level he has been dealing with a lot of off ice discussions. John Lu has reported that the CG GM is actively looking to make moves to comply with ABHL regulations. An interview with Bryan Lee notes that the forward is keeping a cool head about all the talk. Bryan knows its part of the business we are all in, and that it brings something for people to talk about. The positive attitude is a strong attribute that this defender brings to the table. Keep posted to see if the rumors materialize or fade away.

ABHL PLAYER NOTES continuous Empty Clarence Chai - Saturday, April 2, 2011

Post  ROTOWORLD Sat Apr 02, 2011 8:52 pm

The chain gang has made a flurry of moves. As a result they have signed fa forward clarnece chai. His talents are well known and the gang couldn't be more excited. While they are sad to see two extremely key members leave, its a new look team that will continue to try to win. After an interview clarence was incredibly excited and plans to produce after signing a lucrative FA contract.
